These characteristics make Suar wood highly favourable in fine furniture making compared to other woods.

As these boats are replaced over time the hardwood such as teak and ironwood are recycled into stunning individual pieces of furniture.These boats are dried and carefully dismantled resulting in planks being cleaned, sorted by size and thickness, sanded down and restored into appropriate pieces.

Creatif Designs is a locally owned Whitsundays business with over 20 years of experience importing a diverse collection of products from all parts of Indonesia. We offer customised furniture packages and specialise in large wholesale orders and hard to find pieces. We work directly with Balinese furniture manufacturers to ensure that you’re getting the highest quality and the best prices available.

Creatif Designs was formed between Adrain and Damon in 2016 as a new business venture to bring affordable high-quality furniture and homewares to the local area of Airlie Beach Proserpine and Bowen region.Both Adrian and Damon have lived in the Whitsundays more than 15 years.

After the great response from the local community to our pop-up shops at Whitsunday Plaza in Cannonvale and Fresh Fields shopping centre in Proserpine, Adrian and Damon are now permanently located in Whitsundays Plaza Cannonvale opposite Woolworths

All of our furniture is handmade with timber certified by the Indonesian Forestry. All products are sourced with care and consideration to the environment and workers’ conditions. We work directly with our artisans to cut out the middleman and ensure that they receive the proper compensation for their expertise.
